SEE WHAT OUR GUESTS ARE SAYING

We stayed at the LSR with a group for a friend’s birthday and it was nothing short of amazing!  Upon arrival, we crossed a picturesque bridge onto the property and felt like we were transported back in time into the most beautiful mountain scenery.  The entrance road runs alongside old train tracks and a babbling river.  There are 5 different properties within the ranch, including the incredibly quaint river cabins.  The houses are set apart a little bit, so it is a bit of a walk or a short drive between them.  All of the properties exude their own unique rustic charm!  The wonderful ranch hands (Jayce & Z) greeted us on-site and were very welcoming and helpful.  They gave us a lay out of the property and let us know which items we could use.  My husband had set up a fly fishing tour and immediately set off.  He had an epic day of fishing with good friends!  Meanwhile, we roamed over to the chicken coop and horse stables, set in a gorgeous mountain valley.  There is a wonderful Mexican restaurant (Martha's) close by and we spent an afternoon exploring Graeagle's historic downtown, 15 min away.  We had such a great time that we returned 2 months later with our kids!  Turns out our kids enjoyed the Ranch just as much as we did - bike riding, fishing, building sand castles at the river cabins, feeding horses and collecting eggs!  Thanks so much LSR for the invaluable memories.

“The ranch is a perfect place for a group get away. The options the property provides for both activities and stay are rare and unequaled. First, the property provides numerous places to stay, each with its own charm and gives a large group much needed space. You can stay in the newly renovated log cabins right next to the river and the other homes on the property also have amazing views of the forest and valley, with more bedrooms. One home even has a play structure if you are going with kids. The beds are comfortable, there are TVs and login capabilities for any steaming subscription available and the kitchens have everything you need to cook your group meals. Additionally, if you like the outdoors, the property has more options that you can think of. You can walk to the stalls to see the horses, there is biking, running, fishing, a river side beach, as well as great deck/out door space at each home to have a drink and enjoy the views.”

We stayed at the ranch over summer as a family with two young kids and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Sleeping accommodations fit our entire family plus 3 more families all with young children who had the time of their lives. Bike riding, feeding the horses, checking on the chickens, we absolutely loved and recommend The Lost Sierra Ranch as an amazing family getaway!
Celebrated our good friend’s 40th birthday this fall at the Ranch and oh man was it a good time!!! Fly fishing, four wheeling, and cocktailing around the fire pit, need I say more?! Will definitely be booking again! Exceeded expectations.
